Became a nightly habit

We stopped here in the evenings often after dinner and wandering around Centro. This is a nice casual place.

Nice stop in while walking through the streets of the downtown area. Solid drinks and like most things in Zihau, affordable! Our margaritas were 40 pesos each:)

Carlos is such a cool cat! He speaks good English and loves to talk...but not in an annoying way. They have three TVs with sports on. I don't order fruity drinks...but damn that mango daiquiri is crazy good!! It's not always available...so ask. FYI no food. Cheers!

Cold drinks; very cold drinks indeed and good imported gin. From time to time, there is live music, but you're always sure for a very good time. Carlos and Joa are always ready to give you some very nice hours in their lovely company. If you go there in the afternoon, you have to be prepared to eat late, as... More

In looking at reviews for live music in Zihua I ran across The Flophouse Bar & put it on my to do list. Went to town to find this place (which was hard to do even with the very helpful people we met along the way), just kept walking down Ejido until we spotted it on a corner. There we... More

Stopped in yesterday afternoon while walking around Centro. Had a couple of nice cold beers and some good conversation. The bar is open and airy with a very comfortable feel to it. Carlos the bartender was super friendly and the prices didn't break the wallet. All in all, well worth stopping at for a cold one (or two, or three,... More
