Only drawback was all descriptions were in Spanish. Lots of room to roam. Zocalo at front is beautiful and comfortable for people watching.

This place is quite interesting specially by the fact that belonged to the conquer Hernán Cortes. The arquitectural style is very impressive. You could visit in 2 hours.

Loved this site! The people were friendly the site is clean and all of the artifacts are clearly marked! There are wonderful murals by Diego Rivera on the top floor of the palace. The guides and docents do not speak English but the concierge does....More

Decent Mexican History museum, but the building has been renovated so many times in the past 200 years, that you can't really tell what it looked like at the time of Cortez.

Besides being an historical residence of the conquistador of Mexico, it has been turned into a museum with an extensive collection of historical artifacts and a 50" mural by Diego Rivera!

This is a great collection. Everything is well maintained and it's a great history lesson. I learned a great amount about Mexico's history and the murals are gorgeous.
