This cathedral was very popular and the overall area is pretty big. The main sanctuary was closed off probably because of the earthquake but another sanctuary was open to service. It’s very well kept and clean. It’s a great place to visit with your friends,...More

We were somewhat restricted because the recent earthquakes have caused some damage which leaves portions unavailable, including the main building. However, we saw a portion of a mass in one of the smaller buildings and greatly enjoyed the grounds.

The interior of Cathedral of Cuernavaca surprised me with the rich details and paints, the outside area is well preserved and a visit is worth.

There is a main Cathedral and two side chapels. They are all worth checking out. Probably the best part of our two days in the city.
