I love mariachi....really its in my blood. But I was so disgusted by this area. Homeless , drunks and garbage piled up everywhere. A beautiful cathedral right next door and music blaring from sound system while church in session. You have to keep your eyes...More
We had a wonderful time in Guadalajara Mexico. We explored many places in downtown and of course the Mariachi Plaza! I really recommend to visit as many locations as you can in Jalisco.

I would not go to see mariachis down at the Plaza de los Mariachis anymore. I don't think that the area is very tourist oriented anymore - if you want to see and hear mariachis - go to the Parian in Tlaquepaque or to one...More
