I had the molcajete with aracherra and shrimp. To drink a delicious tequila bowl! Can it get better? Yes - At 9:30pm nightly there are live music and performers on the center of the square which really gave the place a lovely ambiance. The service was great and we all had an enjoyable time.

It is a shame that this place is so ridiculously expensive and has terrible food! The mariachi bands are great and the ambiance is fantastic. Waiters are in a bad mood and charge their own tip!! They include it in your little "note" receipt that is not detailed of what you bought and they include their own tip on there.... More

There were about 8 of us. It is a giant food court concept around a central kiosk. The food, the service, everything was great. At 3 pm there is a music and dance performance. Very comfortable place to spend an afternoon.

If you want to enjoy Mexican food while you listen to live Mariachi, this is the place to go, you have any options as there are many restaurants with many meal options.

I went here Friday night. There is an open square with Mariachi's playing in the center. Menu is good. Prices are fair. Service is good. There are smoking and nonsmoking sections. The performance was excellent. I strongly recommend this.

After a 30 hour flight, my Mexican mate took me to this large courtyard restaurant to try first hand some wonderful Mexican cuisine. I was surely not disappointed by choice. Everything that was served on the plates was wonderful and delightful. Full of amazing tastes. Even sipping on some fine Mexican Tequila helped the jet lagged that I experience! Thoroughly... More

Horrible experience! The food was not very good, but we were a large family so we spent a lot on food & drinks. After the waiter placed a drink on the edge of the table & it was elbowed off accidentally, they charged us for it. They told us that it was too bad for us, but we had to... More

I get that this is a "must eat" place in Tlaquepaque..but it wasnt worthy... The Parian has about 6 different restaurants that circle a kiosk in the center, where you can see and hear the best mariachi music, regional Mexican dances and aztec dances too... That was very good, great costumes, singers and choreography... The problem is that if you... More

I have visited this place several times since my childhood and many things have changed for worse. Now all the restaurants ask you for a minimum liquor consumption limit or only expensive dishes of their menu if you want to seat on on their area. That would be Ok if you were not forced to drink only the cazuelas which... More

The Parian in the tourist centro of Tlaquepaque may contain a few nice restaurants but Beto's is not one of them. We didn't expect high cuisine but we did expect a decent basic meal. Big disappointment! All we had was lackluster, including a torta made with a less than fresh bolillo, warmish pasty beans that had a dried out surface... More
