It's a beautiful old catedral and there is generally some dancers, artisans or activity happening on the plaza in front of the Basilica. There is a small huitchol museum too.

Beautiful basilica with glorious altars, breathtaking paintings & holy statues. Lots of history here, kept clean and they are currently upgrading and extending the outdoor plaza and main entrance. Very beautiful church with friendly locals who sell delicious foods nearby.
