This church is surprising in many ways. It feels so European, so out of place with its tinted windows and vaulted ceiling. The architect is a noteworthy Guadalajara native, definitely a must. Also, on weekends in the afternoon the food offering on the plaza is delicious and authentic!

I was married in this church many years ago because, in a city with incredibly beautiful churches, this was the ONLY European-style Gothic church. It is majestic and about 1 mile from downtown, so you have to travel to see it. It is worth every second of your time as it is an architectural gem. The outside features a very... More

Visited the church after going through MUSA, well worth the stop. The steeple seemed to go on forever and the stained glass was beautiful.

It is large and has a brilliant structure. The exterior is beautiful both day and night. At night, it will be lighted up so it looks very charming. A must see spot in Guadalajara.

Very large, stunning cathedral near the University of Guadalajara. The interior and the central spire are beautiful with stained glass.

This church was amazing, the arched ceilings, courtyard and stained glass windows were amazing! Reminded me of the st johns (i think) cathedral in Cambridge, UK.

This nice catholic church of neo-gothic style is located in downtown Guadalajara. The outside architecture is beautiful, and inside the stained glass is impressive. Make sure not to miss the figures of the apostles that show outside a couple of small wooden doors on the left tower every hour.

This was definitely one of the high points of our walk through downtown Guadalajara. The temple was under construction (otherwise it would have been 5 stars) but the building itself spoke to the incredible Mexican culture, and when we walked inside there was a mass going on and we were able to listen in for a few minutes. The inside... More

We walked here direct from the Cabana's on a bright sunny day. It took us about 30 minutes through the construction zones and we were worn out dodging traffic and rewarded when we arrived at his magnificence church. We took some respite sitting in the pews and looking up to see the massive amounts of stained glass and deep blues... More
