We viewed the outside of the university. It is beautiful to see from the town center's garden. To enter there is a cascade of multiple steps to climb.

The work on display does change but I've been through the gallery twice and have been very impressed both times. The artists on display are all Mexican, although not always local. There are lots of stairs to climb and passages to go through so make...More

Wow. wish I could have gone there as a kid. Fun to see the myriad of students that climb up and down the stairs to attend this beautiful place.

Guanajuato is a must visit town and the University is by far the best building in town? The stairway makes it monumental and the style of the building is outstanding. There are.other places to go, but this is by far the best

The university itself was closed when I visited but the stairs to the top were worth the effort. The view is spectacular.

We walked inside the University, up the stairs and around the place. It's okay. Good for a couple of photos. I wouldn't rank it as a "must see" place.

The students give the city a vibrant, fascinating feeling adding much to the great feel of the town. The University is interesting but monster steps!

It's a wonderful place to visit and study. The steps are part of the fun. Time to get into shape. Try the Pipila.
