This is easily one of my favourite museums anywhere! Know before you go that it's massive, with beautiful architecture. I gave myself a day to get through and that wasn't enough to do it justice. Displays are broken down into different time periods and areas...More

This world class museum has some of the best displays of mesoamerican artifacts in the world. We spent 4 hours there and that wasn't nearly enough time to see even half of what we wanted to see. It was a great starting point for our...More

Stunning exhibits capture the major Mexican ethnic groups...Miztec, Mayan, Aztec, etc. The best finds in Mexican anthropology have been brought here. Even non-museum lovers will love this place.

I can't say enough about this place. It is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would recommend visiting 2 areas at a time because it is a huge museum and rather overwhelming. If you're short on time visit the Mayans and the Aztecs or Mexicans. This...More

I spent at least 6 hours touring the exhibits & magnificent artefacts of this museum. A cafe is attached with plenty of seating so you can dine & return to the exhibits. Highly recommended

Yes. Most of the museum is wheelchair accessible. In fact, there were many physically challenged people touring the exhibits as there was a competition in the city for para-olympic athletes.

Hi. I don't think I paid - but if I did it was very minimal. The price quoted by the other wrtier sounds about right for Mexican Museums - they really are inexpensive to visit.
