This lovely park is one of the many found in Mexico City centro. There are many sculptures fountains and most important- large shady trees. Children play and cycle around,it's completely peaceful (no vendors)

it's very pretty and definitely worth getting a picture or two of, but I would not make a trip just to see this.

Beautiful park. At night there are lights on the monuments and the Bellas Artes. We saw some local kids having a "rap off" and were thoroughly impressed and amused. Lots of families and couples out for a cool stroll.

Along with the Chapultepec Forest, Alameda Park is a great place to stroll, see and be seen. The greenery is refreshing, and around the park's edged and within are some truly amazing sculptural pieces. Take a photo with each and you'd have a great scrapbook...More

Alameda Central is a nice park. I've been there to run and the experience was very nice. The place is not huge but big enough and safe.

bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander
around admiring the charming gardens and the
