First, unlike the previous poster said, it is easy enough to get to la Estrella. Look it up on googlemaps first, but essentially you take the metro to either metro Iztapalapa (easier) or Cerra de la Estrella. You walk about 10 minutes to the bottom of the hill. ...but not very well kept, hard to get there and it's not exactly safe around. We haven't seen any security guards at the site and it's obviously a place for locals to party. Cerro de la Estrella is a small volcano, today surrounded by the populated streets of Iztapalapa. In its summit it has an interesting panoramic view of the town.
