Go to the visitor center accoss from the lawn from the main library. They offer a free bike tour on a touring 11 person bike. It was great fun and very informative, the tour is done in Spanish.

I go to the "plaza" where this building is at least once a week. You can stand there and observe the marvelous Murals and art by Mexico's best contemporary artists as well as the setting of the National university and the 1968 Olympic Stadium.

Though this south Mexico City campus was begun in the early 50s, it's still very impressive. Mosaics and murals decorate some of the main buildings. It's worth noting that the original part, the most worth seeing, is best accessed by the bus traveling on Insurgentes Sur, NOT the Universidad Metro Station (Line 3), which is on the other side of... To study the art! I could spend all day studying this building... The university is not grand, btu this building is wonderful. If you are studying the Aztec culture, you will spend hours looking and documenting this building.

A beautiful building with amazing history. Simply piece of art! I haven´t been inside, but from outside it's definitely worth seeing. By the library there is also a grass field so you can bring some food and blanket to chill-out in the sun with friends. Great atmosphere there. Choose a sunny day for that trip :) From main university entrance... More

I visited here with my wife. I used Uber from the city central to here and it cost around 90 Pesos (5.5 USD) for one way. The wall paintings on 4 sides of the building were impressive. Each of them has theme such as Azteca on north side and Spanish tyranny on south side. I wanted to know the inside... More

This is the National Universities library. Decorated on all sides by murals from one of the best artist's this country has produced; Juan O'gorman . Stand at the plaza and admire, then walk around it. The stones used for the creatin of these murals came from every corner in Mexico

This was one of the highlights of our trip. This is an absolutely gorgeous campus. All of the students that we encountered were very helpful in giving us directions around. It is a little bit south of the city so it takes some time to get down there, but if you have a free morning I would definitely recommend it.
