the best time to see this church is late afternoon when the setting sun lights up the yellow and orange facade. it truly lights up the square and is in great contrast to a bright blue sky. wonderful backdrop to the lively square.

When in San Cristobal, you need to see the historic churches. Lots of locals just hanging out, which makes it special.

A nice old religious building, it is dimly lit with gold wall panelling along much of the walls. The altar area is fairly simple.

As everything in S.Cristobal, this "Catedral" i very nice, and you can really enjoy the neighbour. I didn't had the chance to see it inside, I don't even know if is possible, but if you pass in S.Cristobal you should not miss it !

This Cathedral was established in 1539 and in some places it's showing its age, but nevertheless very beautiful and enjoyed the peace and serenity that I felt once inside the church.

A trip to San Cristobal is not complete without seeing this cathedral as the sun sets! The courtyard in front of the church is alive with activity every evening.

Closed almost all day, they opened it at night for the cult. The Plaza in front of it is crowded with people just hanging and some people selling toys and candy.

I like the color scheme of this church, very picturesque. Like most churches, I generally don't visit the interior extensively but I peeked inside and it was very pretty. Churches all throughout Mexico are always nice to check out.

Sits in a pretty plaza and is the geographic center of what you want to see. Nice inside but more so from outside. The plaza on the side was my favorite fir people watching.
