we got really sun burnt in this playa. This was due to the fact that we reach late and there were no umbrellas available.

Got ferry over to Isla Murjures. Area was clean and seemed to be family friendly. Taxi were waiting to pickup after return.

Used this beach access to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. What a beautiful beach!! The sand was white and fine and the water was turquoise and gorgeous. We didn't spend longer than 1/2 hour there but there were children playing and it was beautiful.
