This place is kind of touristy and mainly a port for the Ultramar ferry to go to Isla Mujeres. Note that the prices here are quite a bit higher than from Puerto Juarez to get to the same place and the last return ferry is...More

Playa Tortugas is a very nice and well kept beach. The water is always nice and never too rough. The beach bar is always a must visit.

I wouldn't suggest coming here unless you plan to use the ferry to get over to Isla Mujeres. There is not much here, the beach isn't exactly very nice, there is lots of commercial boats and trips that dock and sail from here. Theres a...More

This restaurant is right outside the Ferry stop of Tortuga. The entrance is from the sand area with lots of beach chairs. The beach is small and crowded with locals. But the restaurant is great! We had 20 mins to spare before our ride showed...More

This is a dirty beach surrounded with ferry boats and commercial catamarans. The access is through a dirty parking lot and should only be used to take the ferry to Islas Mujeres.

There are other beaches less packed. You have to pay to use the restroom as well. Almost no space to relax.

Made a short visit here on our way to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. A busy place with little shops, and bars and a lot of local flavor.

Public beach, could get crowded, not the greatest value for money food, but it's free with a possibility to park free of charge at the parking nearby. Ferries to Isla Mujeres depart from here.
