Spent the day on the Samba 2, and must say, we had an excellent time. The snorkelling was kind of a joke, there were so many people in such a small area, that other than seeing the fish, that were coaxed into being near us with food, there wasn't much to see. Granted, we'd both been snorkelling in Hawaii and... More

To start with I thought the guides were great but didn't like how the tour played out. The first phase of the tour was snorkeling and they insisted on keeping the group in clusters so we spent most of the time trying not to get kicked in the face. We also didn't have a lot of time to snorkel (about... More

We have gone on a Samba Catamaran during our stay at Moon Palace in both 2015 and 2016. Absolutely the best experience ever!!! My family calls it the "party boat" - so so so much fun! This adventure caters to young, teens and adults. You sail, snorkel, shop and stop by a private island for a bite to eat (all... More

We booked this trip from our resort, the Sensatori Azul. The Hotel pickup and drive out and back was straightforward. Don't forget, its an additional $10 to pay at the dock per person. The crew on the boat was excellent, and they took good care of everyone, the water was beautiful. We got our picture taken with the nurse shark,... More

Totally worthwhile. May not be the most affordable boat trip out there, but we were overall very pleased with the places the took us to and the activities we experienced. The crew and service were both awesome. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ACTIVITY TO ANYONE, don't miss out!

We booked our trip thru Happy Shuttle transportation service and they provided the round trip to/from the marina. Be prepared to get a pitch to upgrade (happens a lot in Cancun). In this case I highly recommend the upgrade to the VIP boat. We paid $25/person on the spot, but I learned I could have paid in advance for less... More

Pros: -The pick-up and drop-off from our hotel in Playa del Carmen went well. -My sister and Dad got sick on the boat ride (take motion sickness medication before! Also watch your alcohol consumption the night before!) and the crew was very kind -the boat ride was beautiful/the beach club was fun/relaxing Cons: -if you care about nature/environment, don't go... What an amazing day out this was. A real highlight of our trip to Mexico. Sunshine, sailing, snorkelling, island tripping, shark petting, super buffet lunch, beach time and super sail home watching the brave ones ride the spinnaker. It was a fabulous experience. We were so well looked after on our catamaran the Samba 2. There was a great team... More

I was on a trip with my boyfriend and 4 other friends and because we were staying at different resorts, we tried to arrange as many excursions as possible. We loved the samba trip. Wish we had a bit more time on Isla Mujeres as there is quite a bit to explore and see however due to time constraints we... More

As a thank you to the guests that came down for a wedding, the bride and groom took us all on a catamaran ride! We had the whole catamaran to ourselves, about 55 people total. We took off from the port area, sailed along the coast then out to sea and toward the coast of Isla Mujeres where we snorkeled... More
