We have been coming to Cancun for 7 trips and love to snorkel. Had one trip that was a 4 out of 5 and the rest were sad. Over crowed. I stood most of the way because there was no where to sit love loud music but the sound systems are brutal. They almost pour booze down your throat to try and over shadow the stuff that you don't like. When your in the water trying to snorkel, all you hear is someone yelling at you to get back or turn around. Last time we went the guy kept yelling......stay close to the white boat. (They are all white) I always go in last to keep out of the commotion. So I jump in and the current got me and started pulling me under the boat. The guy yells, don't go under the boat. Well I didn't just decide to go snorkeling under a fricking boat now did I ? Its a shame, such a drop dead beautiful place but its all about the bottom dollar. We are going in a week from now but will try Cozumel. Have heard good reviews on it. Hope you find your tour that you never forget, but in a great way.

We walked right across the street from our hotel and went to the Barracuda Marina. The 2-seater boat was fun and easy to drive, it was only 25 minutes to the coral reef. The reef was a bit cloudy, the snorkels were not the best quality but they were “souvenirs” too, still it was an easy way to see the reef and have some water fun. Another highlight for us was seeing and purchasing the video created by the marina with a drone!

We enjoy snorkeling and this made for a very fun day! Our driver & guide, Raul, provided information about the background of the cenotes and cultural aspects of the region throughout the trip. The first stop was the fresh water Cenote which had a zipline and diving platform. the water was cool and clear and this was a fun/great way to get acclimated for the rest of the activities. We then went to the Cavern Cenote. Inside the cave, the water was refreshing and it was awesome to see the stalactites and stalagmites within the natural light that came through the fissures above. It was really cool! We then had a delicious traditional meal that was very filling followed by a short drive to our last snorkeling experience; the Ocean Inlet. This was really the best experience and we saw a lot of fish both singly and in schools. The variety of sizes and colors were amazing and it was a great way to end the day. We were told by Palace Resort Guest Services that this was a great activity and they were right! We'll probably do it again next time we are in Cancun.

We had Luis as our tour guide and driver. He was super nice and caring. Two people in our group don't know how to swim and Luis was pulling them with a lifesaver thougout the snorkeling tour in open inlet and in the cavern. He listened to our needs and made sure everyone had a good time. Basically it was a snorkeling tour in three different location. One in open inlet where salt and fresh water meet. Then we go to a sink hole where we can do unlimited times of jumps from ziplines and high platform, we had wonderful time there where the adverturous ones did many jumps and others enjoying more snorkelings or sit at the dock and enjoy the natural fish spa. Lots of little fish came nibbling off the deadskin from our feet. It was such a great time hearing kids giggling because of the fish peking on their feet. The snorkeling in sink hole was also amazing. Water was refreshing and clear, and it was sooo deep at some areas. The lunch was okay, some roasted chicken and some mexican food, but we were happy with it because we were all starving after all the activities. The photographer did an excellent job taking pictures for each one of us and the photo package was priced very resonable, comparing to other excursions that we went. My husband brought a GoPro so we didn't buy the photo package even thought they did a much better job than the GoPro, and we really appreciate that they were not pushy at all when they showed us the pictures. Overall I recommend this trip.

I didn’t participatie in the snorkeling activities, but I truly enjoyed the 3 hour boat ride with Barraccuda, Oscar and Moises. They were extremely fun, courteous and accommodating. The provided beverages and snacks and fun activities during the trip. Most of all, they were very knowledgeable and protective in explaining the snorkeling techniques, and the do’s and don’ts of snorkeling. Afterwards, they was also a sailing activity which was conducted in the same professiona and informative manner. Most of all, there was plenty of music, singing and dancing during the trip. It was awesome!
