I visited because I love to see Mexican "Day of the Dead" figurines. I have also fallen in love with some of the eclectic art produced in the Cancun area including Playa De Carmen. This Museum will not disappoint. It is well worth a visit.

After a fruitless search, we found that the museum is now part of Xcaret, which might well be a worthwhile attraction, but is hardly accessible easily from the hotel district.

This is a nice place to spend a few hours. This small Museum has so much culture in it. Check out some of my favorite pieces at the Museo de Arte.
