I did a 2-tank cenote dives with Scuba Total. My experience with them was excellent and I couldn't rave them enough. Gaby was very responsive with emails and she was always on top of things. They were also accommodating to my needs. It was also helpful that she was communicative so that they took me to a cenote that matched with my diving level. My diving instructor, Rafa (Rafael), was just the best that I had in all my diving history. He was not only a man with integrity, he was also respectful, professional and courteous. We had quite a long drive from Cancun, where I stayed, to the cenote. Along the way, he educated me many things about Mexico. He also spent time explaining the history, the formation, and answering my questions about the cenotes. During the dives, he made sure it was safe and comfortable for me. I did not worry one bit at all because Rafa was just outstanding and you knew that he was someone you could trust in this type of diving. In the end, he took care of all the gear so that I wouldn't need to carry them out. He just made the dives very personalized for me. I would highly recommend Scuba Total and Rafa if you are looking into cenote diving in the Quintana Roo areas.

We had a great dive yesterday! We had 4 first-divers in our group (including two 11 year olds) so we were a little nervous about how they were going to do in the ocean for the first time. Aldo and Lorena did an amazing job helping them feel comfortable and stayed close during the dives to make sure nothing bad came up. It made their first experience scuba diving in the ocean a blast!
We saw a LOT of fish and had fun just playing under the water and standing on the ocean floor for pictures.
These guys are a great scuba company and I would recommend them to anyone!

We recently visited Cancun Mexico for our winter trip. The girls decided to get their scuba certification during this trip. Scuba Total made it so easy for us. From the beginning to the end. Scuba Total team really love what they do and it shows. Aldo our Scuba instructor, was so great with the kids. I highly recommend Scuba Total for your scuba experience whether you are a seasoned or beginner diver. Ask for Gaby and she will help you plan your best diving experience while in Cancun

Scuba Total is the best!
Arraingments were made for 4 divers 3 days two tanks each day. Our contact was Gaby who arranged everything. Perfectly. The 4 of us started with interesting shallow dives. "Personalised" would not begin to describe the great interaction with our guides. Each successive dive was gently more challenging. Great predive planning were discussed as the dive boat took us to a reef. The equipment was good and well cared for. Snacks and cold water was supplied Afterwards. Back at camp we rinsed and were helped with our dive logs so no detail would be left out. Our guides took very professional video of our interaction with turtles and exotic undersea creatures.. I would highly recommend Scuba Total Cancun. Gaby arraigned swim with the whale sharks. I swam with at least 8 magnificent sharks. These gentle giants were the highlight of my July adventure.

2 Days of diving with Scuba Total Cancun and our most excellent dive master - Aldo - It was a terrific experience all around. They helped set up transportation to and from our resort to their marina, their prices are excellent and specified up front, the ability to discuss various dive options including sites, air/Nitrox, preferred depths, length of dives, etc. It was all done in the most professional manner while still maintaining the fun of the event. Again, Aldo is one of the best dive masters I have ever dove with and I look forward to coming back again to this shop again and again and again over the coming years. You will not be disappointed!!!

We have been to Cancun 2 times in the last 4 months and have gone diving with Scuba Total every single day of our stay.
To schedule, I reached out via email and Gaby was super communicative and helpful in planning our trip. I let her know we were new to diving and she guided us with recommendations that can't be beat.
We've have done MUSA & Interior Reef dives during both of our trips (great warm up dives). Fabio was fantastic and we saw tons of great marine life. Even my 65 year old father was able to join us and felt comfortable diving for the first time in the ocean since getting his certificate.
We've also done and highly recommend the Cozumel dives (Santa Rosa wall & Ship Wreck) with Aldo who kept us at ease throughout the trip despite it being the deepest depth in our logbook.
Here recently, we took did a couple cenote dives with Rafa and I have to say it was an incredible experience and a must do. I see why it's addicting.
All said and done, the Scuba Total team has been incredibly professional, focused on safety, and have given us some amazing dive experiences that we will cherish for a long time. We will absolutely be back to Cancun to dive again and dives Scuba Total will be the first thing we book.

Love our experience with scuba total. The instructors were wonderful and very helpful! My husband and I went to Mexico and I got scuba certified. This was also my first time scuba diving experience ever the instructor helped me to feel comfortable and confident with the equipment before we went out to the ocean. We practiced all the skills I would need in a pool before practicing them in the ocean and going out to dive. I did an online course before than 2 days of diving. Mario did a great job at explaining everything and making sure that I understood and was able to solve my problems. When planning the dive they were very good at communicating with us and responding quickly. We went on 4 dives total around 45 minutes each and they took us to a different reef every time. We saw lots of fish and sea creatures and also went to the underwater museum. Would highly recommend scuba total to anyone wanting to scuba dive.

Hello fellow Divers,
I don't leave many reviews but I promised Gabby and Aldo that I would let the rest of the world know more about the "BEST" Dive Co. in Cancun. I have tried several other dive shops in the Cancun area (mostly with disappointment). In 2018 I stumbled across Gabby and Scuba Total online and we emailed back and forth about an upcoming trip I had planned. I was amazed by the prompt and friendly responses I got so I gave them a try, and one try was all it took for me to be a lifetime customer. Over the years since then I have had over 27 single tank dives with Scuba Total. Every dive has been amazing and memorable, memories that I cherish. I consider Gabby and Aldo and Rafa to be my friends, we have had so many great dives, I don't know where to start. I would recommend doing the Cozumel trip if you can (with the bull sharks in November-amazing!) Also the outer reefs of Cancun are second to none and so full of life. I always do at least one day of the Cenote dives with Rafa (we are always the first ones at the dive site) almost a religious experience for me. I would 100% recommend this group friendly folks to any diver of any skill level. They are true professionals who care about their client's safety and their diving enjoyment. Can't wait for my next trip!

We have had dives with both Aldo and Fabio. Both are great dive masters that truly take care of you and make your dive a rewarding and safe experience. They take the time to explain everything that you need to know about your upcoming dive and answer any questions that you have. I would recommend them for both experienced and inexperienced diver alike. Also Gaby handles the business end of the dives smoothly and without any hassle. She will also help you to get a less expensive package if you are planning on more than 1 or two dives.

Went diving twice with Scuba Total and both times were awesome.
First was MUSA, I never experienced an underwater museum like this. It was great! We completed our day with a small reef dive which was also good
Then there was Aldo (shop owner) who was supposed to bring us over to the shipwreck but because of the tides we had to settle for a couple of reef dives. His energy is awesome! He's so energetic when explaining his briefing that it was contagious.....I was very eager for the dives!
All in all, a very good shop. Gaby (Aldo's wife) took very good care of organizing everything and was always quick to respond to any questions via Whatsapp!

I am bringing my family, there are 11 of us that are divers, to Cancun in July. We are hoping to book a dive with the whale sharks. I heard that off Isle Mujeres is a great spot. Do you do these trips?
