Very cool to see and very impressive to see once in your life and worth seeing if you are in Cancun. It's like a road side monument- you see it, read the plaque and you are done. You can't go inside or get near it (it's roped off). Tons of people there and way over commercialized with tons of vendors... More

A beautiful Mayan temple with many other temples and platforms around it. Many souvenirs to chose from along the way

My wife and I visited in 2007, and it was great to return this sight a second time, it never gets old or boring to visit a place like this soo steeped in history, being here makes it possible, to see how advanced the Mayan culture was, if you come to visit and are close, this is a must see,... Well worth a visit, the pyramid is a brilliant piece of history and fascinating to look at how the Mayans worked out their calendars. Only a pity you can no longer stand on the pyramid.

A tour guide is important because unfortunately, there are no information signs posted anywhere. That was disappointing for such a historical place. A great place to spend at least 2 hours exploring. The downside is the... More

This is a great place for photo ops and is the main pyramid at those ruins specifically. It's interesting to go all the way around and see the old, non restored side compared to the other side they are maintaining.
