I just completed 8 dives along the Palancar Reef and one night dive. The water clarity is great. The slight current creates easy drift dives. The variety of aquatic life is robust... Sea Turtles, French Queen Angelfish, Lobster, Pufferfish, Stingrays, Nurse Sharks, Moray Eels, etc......More

Had the best and most memorable experience snorkelling above the coral reef. Saw a turtle. Barracudas and sting-ray. Totally recommend this trip.

diving the Palancar Reef Wall is really exciting and every diver should do this at least once; having the dramatic drop to thousands of feet is thrilling to encounter and see

Great diving with lots of pinnacles and swim throughs. Dove 3 times on part of Palancar reef. Turtles, nurse sharks and reef fish abound.

Went here on the Explora Snorkel tour. Saw turles and fish and cool to see divers below. Really beautiful reef. Best snorkeling I've ever done.

This is a really beautiful deep snorkel location. We saw some excellent quality reef and sea life including a nurse shark. The depth does make it hard to see the floor life, but it is a must stop on a snorkel tour!

This reef has what you like from swim throughs to coral towers, shallows to deep. This is a great reef system.

I have wanted to dive in Cozumel for awhile. I was staying in Playa Del Carmen and booked a dive with Dive Paradise online. I took the 7am ferry, walked down to the shop and was on the water around 8:45. We dove the Horseshoe....More

We bring students here; great for Advanced Student certifications. Dived it dozens of times and you always find something; animals and spare equipment too. The last time I was here I picked up 2kg of lead, a flashlight and a go-pro

Great little curio stores (and they accept credit cards). Snorkel to el Cielio - $25 - for 1.5 hours. It’s half the time of the trip if you go with somewhere more north on the island, but the only difference is the distance you have...More

We use Chichicharters for our trips but we like to be alone. Almost all the resorts offer a charter just ask they when you arrive and tell them where you want to go. Or go to chichi Carter's web site

Cabs are everywhere, and pretty reasonable. Some cabs take credit cards, so ask your driver. They take US dollars. Do NOT use the standalone ATMs that are on the street. They are notorious for eating your card and there... More
