Saw some beautiful corals and marine life. Had to get adjusted to the current since I usually only dive in lakes, but I enjoyed it.

We enjoyed diving at this reef, but it's hard to compare with some of the island's more impressive dive sites (Santa Rosa, etc.) Definitely not disappointing, just hard to live up to the others.

Got to dive in the area twice during a trip last year and had an incredible time. It is a second to none experience with a beautiful view with some great opportunities to see many aquatic animals. We saw several species of fish, lobster, turtles...More

Can you snorkel yourself from the shore? Is there much to see closer to the shore?

Hi, I am not so sure that would be wise. Even if you were able to get to the reef, there is a ton of boat traffic and most of the really cool sites are a min of 30' down. Also, there is a fairly strong current when divers... More

Is it Palancar where you can enter the water off the beach and dive or snorkel and see a statue of the Virgin Mary just below the surface?
