Palancar reef is divided into 4 separate sites with shallow and deep dives on each. There is Palancar Caves, Palancar Tiles, Horse shoes and Bricks. We dove Caves which is not cave diving but winding thru a serpentine of channels between impressive coral heads. We...More

I snorkeled here based on a local recommendation. The beach is great and the water is very calm, but there is not really too much to see unless you go out beyond the bouys, but the problem is that there is heavy boat traffic and...More

A diverse reef with walls, swim throughs, tunnels, pillars, and an aquarium type feeling while diving through and around all the marine life. Our week there had some strong drift diving, but on other trips drift diving was nice and gentle.

Currently pregnant so I couldn’t dive but even snorkeling we saw a turtle and a sting ray. Gorgeous reefs.

I came with sort of low expectations due to the drift diving and crowds. There are tons of divers but it wasn't an issue and the reef is spectacular. Towering pinnacles, swim throughs, walls effects, big fish. Will go back!

This reef never disappoints. Good place to see turtles and barracuda. If you like a nice drift dive, I highly recommend.
