Beautiful! The reef is pristine! Colors are outstanding and the fish are abundant! This 3 dives exploring this reef were my favorite. An absolute for dive locations.

Had been told to expect 100'+ visibility, but was less than 60'. Coral heads less healthy and number/ variety of fish disappointing compared to past trips.

We visited this reef, and 3 others, with Cozumel H2O. It has crystal clear waters with numerous fish, sting rays and star fish. Cozumel has some of the best reefs to scuba and snorkel at in the Caribbean...so please include this reef on your next...More

The reef is very healthy and lots of soft corals. Dove many times and every dive was great. Ari was our divemaster and got us to all the good spots but I can't imagine there are any bad spots here.

if you mean to snorkel out to the reef from the beach without a boat, then nope. At least not safely. There are many other tour boats going to and from the reef. I guess if you're a great swimmer that likes big... More

If you want to dive on Palancar reef you need to go on a diving boat, l paid $35 & was out there 2 & 1/2hrs. There are strong currents out there, but as it's only 1/4ml from land, a really strong & healthy person could do... More
