Anyone who is a seasoned diver would have dived this reef. And if you haven't - what are you waiting for?!! One of the most spectacular reefs in the world chock full of variety. Lots of different dives available. Wall dives, drift dive, wreck dives,...More

This was our first dive after becoming open water certified. We went with Dive Paradise and had an incredible experience. The coral was majestic and there were lots of swim throughs and beautiful fish. So much to look at!

Snorkeled here with a Dressel Divers tour. What a beautiful natural wonder! I didn't think water could be that clear. Highlight was seeing two sea turtles pass by so close you could almost touch them (but never would). If you get the chance, get in...More

1st time Scuba diving & Palancar Reef was a beautiful place to do it. The reef is amazing & the underwater life is colorful & calming too. Was a perfect introduction to scuba diving. Has ruined scuba diving in a lake for me.

Dove here via Sea Robin dives (shout out to Eduardo!) and had a FANTASTIC time. Dove with my wife and her parents. Saw multiple 7ft nurse sharks, green sea turtles, stingrays and even a goliath grouper hiding in a cave, between 40ft-80ft. Highly recommended!

These are two of the best dive sites I've ever been to, and I've been around. The coral, fish life, swim through so, and viz are unparalleled.

Did the tour with my 9 year old. The tour on the reef was around 45 minutes by catamaran. The reef was clear, water crystal but not a huge array of seaside around. Saw a turtle and a nurse Shark from distance which was great...More

Hi, I am not so sure that would be wise. Even if you were able to get to the reef, there is a ton of boat traffic and most of the really cool sites are a min of 30' down. Also, there is a fairly strong current when divers... More
Is it Palancar where you can enter the water off the beach and dive or snorkel and see a statue of the Virgin Mary just below the surface?

If you want to dive on Palancar reef you need to go on a diving boat, l paid $35 & was out there 2 & 1/2hrs. There are strong currents out there, but as it's only 1/4ml from land, a really strong & healthy person could do... More
