Admission is now $12 usd per person, you drive yourself to beach location. Get a umbrella or you will burn, they have food and drinks. Beer is 3 dollars and snacks are around the same. You can get a snorkel guide and swim the protected waters. Seen barracuda, stingrays and many fish. They will advise if the snorkeling is good... More

Wonderful experience. Saw quite a few huge crocodiles, climbed to the top of the lighthouse - a little scary coming down as the steps are narrow, but the view was well worth the climb.

This was the first time we actually visited Punta Sur. I didn't know how large the park was until I read about the different activities and natural preserved areas included. We saw several huge crocodiles, climbed up to the top of the historic lighthouse (amazing panoramic views of the beach and mangrove-lined lagoons), visited the maritime museum and spent a... More

Would recommend this to everyone. Loved going up into the lighthouse. Beautiful view! We rented a jeep and drove around the island and this was one of our stops. Loved it.

A bit on the pricey side compared to other beaches, but very worth it. Lots and lots of hammocks, a lot of beach to walk on and with private places, and, of course, a reef that is not too far to swim to. Lots and lots of fish and places to see. Watch out for the current though, I had... More

My husband and I enjoyed our jeep/snorkel excursion with All Pro Tours in Cozumel. We were on a cruise with limited time in each port, and we used Jaital to book our excursion to Punta Sur. We were very pleased with Jaital's services, and we had a great guide from All Pro Tours. Our guide ("Mr. H.") was very friendly,... More

Recently developed, Punta Sur or the Faro Celerain Eco Park is a wonderful place to spend a day. The entrance fee is about $10 per person and is worth every bit of that and more. Soon after entering the park, there is a viewing tower to see the mangrove lagoons and their residents, crocodiles, roseate spoonbills, various herons and egrets,... More
