Nice reef, more of a drift dive d/t current. Saw few rays, one large one settling in the sand. Lots of lobsters, nice formations

Good for 2nd or later dives because it is shallow. Lots of turtles as well as lobsters. But them the place is full of them anyway!

I didn't dive while I was there. But I don't think you need reservations. There is a dive shop located directly on the beach at Chankanaab and I think you can book right there. But I am not positive. Cozumel has some great... More

We went to Chankanaab as a 'day trip' and the snorkel equipment was included in the entry fee.
