This is a huge rip off and the worst part of our cruise by far! After paying over $100 per person you’d think you would be treated with respect and there wouldn’t be a need to pay for anything else. However, if you go to Chankanaab, you’ll be proven wrong. The drinks come in 5oz cups. Drinking beer, I asked... More

Overall a nice park to visit. Very friendly folks. Hint...swim with the dolphins and pay the extra for the royal treatment. What an awesome experience. We did snorkel too but not much other than clown fish on our visit. Don't bother spending extra bucks for the buffet. It was pretty poor.

My daughter could not wait to get out of Chankanaab. She thought 'Natural Park" would be a National Park with some sort of conservation, etc. Instead, it was a complete tourist trap. We did NOT do the dolphins. We have done them a couple of times in the past, most recently in Los Cabos for a far better value, longer... More

We did the dolphin swim here and it was amazing. We also did the manate encounter and really liked that as well. They have a nice park to walk in as well as a good rest to snorkel at that is right from shore.

Took tour through resort. Very nice snorkeling. Seal show was a plus. Couple small crocodile enclosures. Nice restrooms, and showers. Did not zipline or swim with dolphins, extra charge. Lounge chairs are first come first serve. Restaurant was good. Nice afternoon on a beautiful beach.

This is a pretty park, with some fun features once you accept that it's not a very well run operation. I booked a swim with sea lions on line ahead of time, and our names weren't on the list. I am glad I had the print out of my confirmation, because it still took 20 minutes and a manager to... More

Loved sea lion demo and accessible beach. Snorkeling was easy and lots of shade if you get a little overheated.

Overpriced. This was advertised as an "all inclusive." We got there and were told we would have to wait at least an hour until the pool and bar opened. Although there are many bars and restaurants, the Carnival wristband only allowed you to use one. They had a list of 5 drinks which were included. And they were terrible. And... More

We had a wonderful guide on our excursion to Chankanaab while cruising on the Carnival Triumph! While here, we snorkeled, hung out on a private beach, toured replice Mayan ruins, had a Tequila tasting, saw a sea lion show, had lunch and free drinks, and had a little bit of time left to explore other parts of the park. I... More
