The horseback riding portion of the trip was very good. Carlos met us at the cruise pier and transported us by bus to the ranch. Each rider in the group (approx 20) was matched to a horse and assisted onto the saddle. Basic instructions were given and the horses were well seasoned on the trail. The Mayan Ruins were often... Booked the excursion through RC. We were met at the pier by Clinton. I agree with others who wrote that Clinton took the time to match you with the horse and your horsemanship. I truly believe these horse could have made the trip with or without a rider. They know the trail and have done it many times. Anyway, Clinton... More

Metal at the pier by Clinton. Knowledgeable and funny man. He took the time to ensure the riders understood how to control the horses and how to ride for the beginners. Made sure to match horse and rider. We had a great time.

We were met by Carlos and then driven to the ranch which is around 30 mins from the cruise port, Carlos was clearly very experienced in working with horses, he gave us a quick lesson on how to ride a "Mexican" horse.. and then selected a house based on the individual ability, help was given to get onto the horse... We did this as an excursion during our visit on a NCL ship. It was very well run and very nice. It was a great time and worth the 30-40min bus ride.

Thanks to Matthew, our Cruise itinerary was changed & we visited Cozumel. We booked this excursion on the fly and it was wonderful. Carlos was our tour guide. He was super friendly as was everyone at the Ranch. They do require everyone wear helmets, which is great. The tour was very educational and our group enjoyed it. They did an... More

Clinton, our tour guide for the day, was brilliant. His jokes & entertaining stories kept everyone laughing as we travelled the 30ish minutes from the cruise ship port. And his knowledge & information was excellent. As a not very experienced horse rider, the brief but thorough explanation of steering & controlling our horse was the best I have ever heard.... More

My wife made the reservation and we decided to go in the morning before it got hot. We were the only ones there that morning, it was very peaceful and quiet. This was my wife's first ride, and she had a great time. The horses are very well taken care of and groomed and were a joy to ride, my... More

Amazing!!!! I am a animal lover and so pleased with the care the people of the ranch not only give there guest but the animals. For first time riders, no worries. You will be able to ride along on the trail on your own horse with no problem. They have horses for every experience level which is amazing. Our guide... More
