This is our 3rd time to go to the KoaKoa factory. It gets better every time asJoshue&Marilyn continue to expand and improve the facilities and their presentation.

We ground chocolate and made a chocolate drink disc. We also tasted some chocolates in various states of finishing. It was interesting. Did not last very long and was not as in depth as we wanted but would recommend just for the knowledge.

We stopped here as part of an Island Jeep Tour and our guide must have let them know we were coming even though we had not even decided if we wanted to do it or not. They were standing there waiting. The "make your own chocolate bar" experience sounded like fun but it was over-rated. Here's the deal: You pay... More

This tour was arranged by Safe Tours Cozumel. We thought we were just going to see how chocolate is made and taste a few pieces. The description of how chocolate was founded, then how the process of making it has changed over time was very interesting. Then after learning all that, we went into the "kitchen" and put on the... We had a wonderful time at the factory, they have a good intro video showing the Mayan tradition plus lots of replica tools used by the Mayans. Making our chocolate was fun, lots of chocolate tasting along the way. Our guide Miguel was very friendly and informative.

We found this tour on the internet and thought "Who doesn't like chocolate?" It was a great tour. Very informative about the history of chocolate and making the chocolate bar at end was a blast.

This was a wonderful tour and fit into our time in Cozumel easily. With this tour, we were able to do something different and still have time to explore San Miguel.

I had seen on tripadvisor that you could make your own chocolate in Cozumel We had been several times before on the island while cruising but had never done it before. We grabbed a taxi as we got out of the ship and within 30 minutes were there. The tour started with a bit of the history of the cocoa,... More
