We stopped in Cozumel on a cruise and the beach resort we usually go to was full for a wedding. Our taxi driver suggested Uvas and am so glad he did! It was a $45 entry fee which included drinks and food. They brought us...More

Visited while in Cozumel on a cruise. Why overpay the cruise line for a beach break and have to be on their schedule? This was a $12 dollar taxi ride (each way) and $20 a person. For this you got admission, chairs, umbrella, and a...More

The beach is beautiful but rocky-only for kayaking or snorkeling. Our package came with kayaking but they only had two and it was a several hour wait to use them. The staff was very friendly and all went well until we shopped at the stores....More

My husband and I booked this as an excursion from our cruise. We spent several hours at the beach, ate lunch, and went snorkeling. This was our first time snorkeling so we chose to go at our own pace, rather than go out with a...More

We booked the clear kayak and snorkeling excursion through royal Caribbean. The guide paid for our taxis at the port and met us there. The guides were friendly and helpful. There was of course time allotted for instructions and equipment distribution, then about 45 minutes...More

Did not research and took the suggestion from car rental guy. Price ok, chairs falling apart, beach was rocks. Rather pay $20 more bucks per person and go to a nicer place. This is the Wal-mart option.

Like many of the beach clubs on Cozumel, food is adequate but expensive based on what is offered, and during your meal there is constant badgering trying to sell you souvenirs or other services. Nothing great or horrible, just average.

It was a last-minute excursion offered on the ship. They announced they would be adding a combo Cozumel shopping/Playa Uvas excursion. It was very cheap (like $30/person), so we thought, "Why not?" If I was going to do it... More

How close is Playa Uvas Beach Club to all the attractions at Chankanaab? Is it actually connected so you are able to enjoy both? Can you just "walk over" to the main park? Thank you!

I have not visited Chankanaab, but it is a short 7 minute walk from Playa Uvas to the Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park. The Chankanaab reef is behind Playa Uvas as well, I believe. The snorkeling is beautiful!
