This is a must stop if your doing a golf cart tour of the island. A good place to have lunch or grab a refreshment, mossy through some shops, stretch your legs, and see the ruins and statuesque art work. We still enjoy going there.

We took our golf cart and headed down the road to Punta Sur. Beautiful drive along the way from Playa Norte. I believe the entrance fee is $4. Well worth it. There is a walkway along the Caribbean very beautiful. Iguanas all over the place. Went to The Joint for a drink after great bar !!!

We visited this place for the first time 8 years ago, and were struck this year by the amount of damage the steel sculptures had sustained, from being exposed to the elements. Some of the statues were literally rusting away, and falling apart - it looked like the setting for a post-apocalyptic film. This was made more poignant by the... More

We arrived at Punta Sur via a rented golf cart and were blown away by the views! It was gorgeous! We saw some ruins at the very end and a vast array of modern sculpture inspired by the history of the island. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, as it's a lot of walking and some of the stairs are... More

When we were last here in June many large sea turtles were mating in the waves. We're told this is an annual event and it was a wonderful experience for all of us!

Beautiful view but someone had put metal scrap in the landscape (art?) and thus we had to pay an entrance fee to walk to the actual point (that was far to high). The restaurant was extremely overpriced and the dirty toilets costed a lot to use. We used a golf cart to get there (beautiful ride) and when we left,... More

Worth the entrance fee, nice view, a little path around the coast and funny sculptures. Just enjoy the place.

It was very windy the day we visited (30mph with higher gusts) and we almost skipped the visit. The sculpture garden is interesting - many of the sculptures turning to pile of rust - but not reason enough to visit. But the trails along the water are spectacular and worth an hour tour of the park. Well worth the 30... More

Pictures don't do this place justice. Standing on top of the cliffs looking out into the ocean is an experience hard to find in the East coast of US. There is an interesting sculpture garden, take time to study that and you can climb down the cliffs to where the waves are crashing! After walking around and taking amazing pictures,... More
