Beautiful little Catholic church.

Very charming local Catholic church. Quaint. I was smitten with it. We visit it each time we are in Isla Mujeres.

This church is located across from a supermarket that is how we came to visit it. Nice to step in and meditate for a few minutes. Inside surroundings are nice to like at. The church seems to be open all day long for visitors.

We were there on a Friday morning. It is a small church but very nice inside. The have these 3D type sculptures on a wall. They are the 12 stages of the crucifixion of Jesus. They are unique.

Don't hesitate to enter the church to see the ocean view through a large window behind the altar. Except, I would not go wandering in the church if there is a mass going on. Next door to the church, on the right side if you are facing the church, is a three story white building. The first floor contains religious... More

Outstanding view of the ocean, yet another church we lit a candle in for our dear friend fighting cancer. Happy to report his tumors are shrinking and no new ones!!

Churches like this are at the center of all Mexican towns. Although not as elaborate and grand as some, it's a nice little church that should make your list of stops while strolling through town. The plaza comes alive after dark with music, entertainment and street vendors.

After a great dinner at Fredy's we headed down Hidalgo and stopped at ParadICE for ice cream which is directly across the street from this beautiful church. It is definitely a social meeting place with many locals gathering as well as visitors to Isla Mujeres. There were kids playing everywhere around the church and the church itself was beautiful. The... More

Didn't get to see alot of the inside since it was closed but it was nice. Just walking around and looking at the sculptures was nice.
