Clean water, not crowded, no debris, simply awesome! Definitely family and couples friendly - it's a perfect getaway!

Super busy, but gorgeous. Lots of small yachts anchored close to the beach, and catamarans that brought in tourists for the day, all of which seemed to land at this gem of a beach. A must see, for sure, but be prepared for crowds!

As the title says it is a beautiful beach but too crowded. Best to go there early in the morning or any time if you do not mind the crowd.

We stayed in a hotel right on the beach, and it really is a very nice beach, but also very crowded. The sunsets are beautiful.

We discovered Playa Norte a few years back, this was our third visit, to Isla Mujeres. This is the perfect beach for non swimmers, like myself, the waves are so small, the ocean it's so calm, because this beach is in between two land masses....More

The northern end is a white sand beach with almost no surf. Perfect for younger kids, and swimming with any threat of riptides. Bring snorkel gear as lots of fish are around (and I found a baby sting ray close tot he beach).

This gorgeous beach is a great place to relax for the day or week. There are numerous places to rent chairs and umbrellas, get drinks and even massages. Stay all day for the sunset!

There are several places where you can access Playa Norte beach. Parking will be on the street. Isla is not that big, it will be much easier to understand once you arrive. The earlier you arrive, the more options are... More

Your best bet for that would be to ask around the island. Day rate from our hotel was $65 for 24 hours. That'll give you a ballpark to work from.

Go to playa Totugas and get the ultramar ferry from Cancun over to Isla Mujares.
