I've been to many Mayan sites in the Yucatan, Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras and they are all worth seeing. I am very glad I visited Uxmal and I wish it wasn't 95 degrees with 60% humidity while I was there because I would have loved...More

This archaeological site is wonderful: very extensive area you can walk through at your own pace, with structures you can go in or climb to get some great panoramic views. Mayan Puuc style is very impressive. Site is one hour from Merida and less busy...More

I found the site at Uxumel in Merida to be really grand and the Magician's Palace was astounding...beyond words. I highly recommend visiting this location to anyone interested in archeological sites. It is well worth it and is as great as Chichen Itza.

Sorry, no idea about bus. We travelled from Merida by car - about an hour/hour and a half. What about asking your tour operator? As others have said - well worth a visit! Wonderful site, not too many other tourists. Carry... More
