I'll admit it, I wasn't sure what to expect from having a port in Progreso - but we decided to check our ruins and after research decided to go through Auto Progreso - so glad we did! Our toe guide for Uxmal was Tony, and he is very knowledgable and easy to have conversations with, and was very patient in... More

This was my 2nd time using AP, first was years ago for the combo tour w/ Merida. This trip we just did the ruins at Dzibilchaltun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, patient with our group. The ruins are older, smaller than others - but still worth seeing. It was a hot day, wish my group remembered about the... More

When we got to Progreso, we didn't have any particular plans in mind. So, we shopped around a bit then decided on the city tour with Tour Guide, Mariana and bus driver, Heder. Mariana was extremely informative and funny. We had an amazing tour and would recommend them again. So, if you're in Progreso, go to the AutoProgreso desk and... More

Went to Techno resort with Daniel. It was a great excursion. We had a great resort, beach, pools, food and drink. Great service at the resort. Clean and nice bathrooms. It was a perfect day. Got it at half the price of the cruise line too!!!

We took the Mayan Ruins and Merida City tour while stopping in Progresso on a Carnival cruise. It was such a great experience. First of all it was about $30 per person cheaper then what the cruise line was charging. Second, the salesperson Isabel, and the tour guide, Ivan were excellent. The bus was air conditioned and we were able... More

we didn't have any "plan" or a booked excursion when we got to Progreso. Since there's not alot to do in Progreso, we decided to do an open city bus tour ( 45 min) and a bus to Merida tour (about 3 1/2 hours). The tour guides were both very knowledgeable and friendly. It was pretty reasonable as far as... More

We arrived on Carnival Fantasy in Progreso thinking of maybe just doing a double decker tour. Then we got to where the shuttle disembarked and decided on a combo tour of a Mayan ruin and Merida city. Loved it. Ivan was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide and our driver could thread a needle with that big bus. we saw and... More

In one word this company is unreliable! I had booked the Dzibilchaltun/Merida combo tour almost 3 months in advance. I had arranged price, meeting time and place with Guadalupe. Everything seemed to be going smooth, but to my surprise when I arrive in Progreso and look for Guadalupe she greets me saying I am late and our tour had already... More

We booked the beach day excursion with AutoProgreso through ShoreExcursioneer.com prior to our cruise. The cost was $39 / person for a day at the beach with free buffet food and free drinks. The food was good and the drinks contained more alcohol than the drinks on the ship. The bus and the tour guide stayed at the beach with... More

By reading reviews on TripAdvisor we did not book anything online and booked the tour on the spot with this company whose agents were standing right outside the pier, We booked Merida and Dzibilchultan Combo Tour for $39.99 which was about 5 hours trip, however it was one of the worst tour we had on our 5 day cruise. Our... More
