This area is about an hour south from Cancun. It is on the ocean and contains many attractions. There are those that are watched passively, and others that are interactive. Our family of 4 adults and a teenage boy had great fun floating the subterranean river, snorkeling, watching the shark demonstration, walking the nature trails, visiting aviaries, butterfly houses, and... Ignore the naysayers - what a great place. Its a theme park zoo with lots of variety. The aviary was beautiful. The Plus package made things easy that we were going to do anyway. Have fun!

as part of a conference, our group was given the opportunity to participate in this theme water park and attend the evening extravaganza coupled with dinner. The Mexican history that was presented at the evening event was without a doubt something we will remember for years to come. The historical attire was exquisite, depicting the difference areas and time periods... More

Plan on taking a whole day to explore this place, you'll need it! Too much to see and do in one day. I have been here 3 times and found new things to see and do each time. The dolphin meet and greet is nice, but expensive, but even more expensive is what they want for pictures. Plenty of different... More

The area where Xcaret Park exists is already a place to see. The Riviera Maya is a huge green region so agreeable to the eyes. The park in itself is amusing, interesting and relaxing. Xcaret has many exotic birds and animals put in semi liberty. You can appreciate from near the parrots, flamingos , the golden eagle, the quetzal and... More

Xcaret and Xplor are amazing parks. We enjoyed the simulated Cenotes and the Mexican cemetery section most at xcaret. The butterflies and birds were also fun.

We stayed at the Occidental (now Barcelo) at Xcaret Destination resort right next door. This is not necessary to enjoy the park but it was fun to take the short pathway or boat ride to the park and have our own exclusive resort entry booth to the park. The resort does offer a deal with unlimited access to the park.... More

I have been here before, once with my husband... but whenever a friend and I took a cruise to the Caribbean, I knew we just HAD to go back! Her whole goal was to see the sea turtles, but once it was over she was beyond psyched about the whole park. She was rather obsessed about the butterfly garden too... More

From the beginning of the day until the end, I can't describe the disappointment. Let me start with the price. £120 each for the tickets into the park (included 20 minute bus journey there and back, and ONE buffet lunch for a 13 hour day). Baring in mind me and my partner both did Disney last year for less than... More
