This venue was only a 5 minute stroll from our hotel and was a good break from the hotel scene for a change, there is even a Starbucks with a nice upstairs lounge. The shops are a but similar but are cleaner and more welcoming...More

Only a 5 minute walk from the Riu Yucatan and literally across the road from the Playacar hotel, and on the same side 3 minutes from the hotel Riu Tequila. Since last year when we visited there is a little more added, meaning more shopping....More

Its close to most hotels easy 5 min walk. Prices are high but what do you expect theres no big trinket stores or outlets close. Large variety of stuff. Plus there's a drug and deli store for all you small stuff like m&ms and drinks.

We stayed at the Iberostar Quetzal. This shopping plaza was only about a 5-6 min walk from our resort. It is good for souvenior shopping with prices being better than on the resort. Good selection of things.

We went for a walk from Sandos for something to do, pick up some souvenirs and razors. Nice little shops with friendly people. Great pharmacy with everything you need

Nice small place, good for quick stop to check out T shirts and trinkets. There is also a Starbucks right there as well.

We were staying at The Riu Tequila so it was a nice stroll after dinner to do some window shopping. A variety of shops, minimarts, chemist, gift and clothes, not the hassle like 5th Ave.

How do I get to Plaza Playacar from Grand bahia principe coba?

Grab Bahia is in Akumal so it's a little far. You'd have to take a cab. You're better off going into Playa if you're looking to shop. Plaza Playacar is pretty small.
