Aldo, our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We had a great tour even though the reef was to choppy for snorkeling. The float down the Mayan canal was the best. Lunch was delicious! Highly recommended!

We are a family of 4- kids aged 8 and 5. This trip with Aldo was the highlight of our time in Mexico! There was so much to see and learn - ever our hard to please 8 year old said "it was only boring for 5 minutes". :-) Aldo was also super responsive - we got on the trip... More

We took the tour during our stay in Tulum and really enjoyed it. The organisation and communication via email beforehand was easy and very friendly. The tour itself was wonderful, it was a shame we couldn't snorkel. But that's nature! Only small point of criticism: For us it was a bit too centered around birds. We like them but are... More

We booked this tour at 24 hours notice (very easy booking and payment system direct with the owners) and were thrilled to learn, on meeting Aldo at the entrance to the Biosphere, that we were the only two people on his trip that day so we got a private tour of nearly 7 hours around the Sian Ka'an Biosphere reserve.... We booked a private boat tour with Aldo through visit sian kaan website. The cost was $110 USD/person ($80 for kids), which included awesome local lunch (they can accommodate dietary restrictions upon request) on the boat and cold drinks, including beers for adults. Reservations were made via email (505 deposit required in advance). We saw a bunch of local animals,... More

This is a small company run by Aldo and his wife. Just one boat with a maximum of 6 people to tour around a truly gorgeous and diverse aquatic area. Unlike the other companies that tend to group up with 5-6 boats vying for the same space, Aldo tries to avoid any other groups. This way you will not scare... More

These guys are very responsive, a pleasure to deal with. We did the Sunset tour and I cannot recommend it enough. Our guide was wonderful, knowledgable, loves the nature animals and birds. The reserve is magical, we've seen crocodiles, manatees, astounding number of birds. The float in the canal was our children's favorite, and to tell the truth the adults... More

I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was breathtaking! Only 6 people in the small boat (we only had 5) means you see so much more, and are away from the large tourist crowds - getting up close with the wildlife, but never feeling like you were disturbing or intruding on their habitats. As someone who works in the conservation/environment... More

Such a fun afternoon touring the lagoons and floating the canals. Highly recommend this ifyou are looking to escape the crowds and take in some beautiful scenery. Really enjoyed a nice peaceful float down the freshwater canals that are crystal clear and feature some beautiful birds and scenery

Aldo, at this tour company, is wonderful. Very knowledgeable of the Sian Ka'an biosphere and speaks english very well. The tours consist of only up to 6 people in a boat. He takes you thru the biosphere explaining important features. You are out and about for up to 5 hours, authentic cuisine included, beverages as well as a float thru... More
