We had a group of 8 with ages from 17 to 60, and every one of us enjoyed this cenote. We were given life jackets on arrival, which we didn't think we needed as we are all competent swimmers, however, after 1.5 hours of swimming,...More

No, really. That’s what one of the routes is called. I read about cenotes but wasn’t sure what to expect. Sac Actun is an enclosed cenote. We donned our snorkeling gear, Life vests are mandatory as it can get very tight and dark in there...More

We lucked out and got to see Sac Actun on a very slow day. We had a terrific guide and thought this tour was a great value. Do go for the wetsuit, as it gets cold in the caves.

This Cenotes worth a visit...Water can be a bit cold for 45' swin but great time there. Wet suit can be recommended but $10 is a bit high!

My family and I have been to Tulum twice and to this Cenote three times. You have to go with a guide which makes it much less crowded then the other Cenotes we visited. I think out of the three times there we saw two...More

A local taxi advised us to go there and what a surprise. This Cenote is the best we've seen, you can't miss it! It is beautiful and quiet.

This is the only cenote we have seen, but I am satisfied that it wouldn't get better. The drive is off the beaten path about 8km off dirt road (but it is very smooth). The place itself is well kept and nice bathrooms to change...More

The cenote itself was a bit difficult to find, but the adventure is well worth it! We snorkeled through the dark caverns for over an hour without a hint of boredom. The water is beautiful and clean and the surrounding jungle was calming and lovely,...More

You have a very intimate experience with a cave, water, stalagtites and stalagmites. It is a very unique experience. The guide takes you into complete darkness and explains cenotes.

You will need the guide in Sac Actun, because the cenote is an underground cave system and you can’t go there by yourself. 😀
