Batey is a new mojito bar in Tulum. We serve the best mojitos made with freshly crushed sugar cane juice out of a converted VW Beetle! There's live music most days of the week, a great atmosphere and the best service.

We got a recommendation to go to Batey for Mojitos in Merida. So we had to go. Apart from a normal Mojito you can choose all different kinds of flavours and ingredients. They might be a bit pricier than other mojitos in town but definitely...More

I loved this place! We found it “through the grape vine” and so glad we did! The fresh fruit juice is served with a real sugar cane that we watched them cut up and with a huge friendly smile. The ham and cheese omelette was...More

My husband and I were wandering around Tulum Pueblo after dinner and were intrigued by the VW Bug parked outside and the eclectic crowd. We were not disappointed! We sat in the back by the stage and had some great alcoholic and non-alcoholic mojitos (they...More

The party vibe at Bar Batey reminded of my favourite New Delhi party scene from the mid aughts - the Berlin Sound Tamasha. Same sense of freedom, joviality and craziness. Beautiful back patio, delicious mojitos, madhatter manic party vibes. It distilled the festiveness that I...More

Very nice drinks in this place. The only problem is that if you like to stay and listen to music have to keep ordering drinks. If not, the owner will ask you to leave.
