To arrive there you need to walk to the bottom of canyon for about 50min/1h, on your way back up to the top you're going to take at least 1h15min or more depending of your physical. I would not recommend it for older people since...More

We went in early February. Our guide drove us down the STEEP road. We were the only four there. The temperature in the various pools ranges from warm-plus to warm-minus. Pleasant. Nice bathhouse (with showers and toilets). The views getting there are spectacular, but no...More

Although it was a national holiday the day we went to the springs, we were alone in the place. They are very well kept and clean. To get there you need to go down a very steep road and it is totally worth paying 60...More

The springs are amazing! The close proximity to Creel and beautiful drive, if I lived there I would go weekly. The drive down the canyon requires a 4 wheel drive and there are several memorials along the way that stand as testaments of the dangers...More

If you plan to visit the hot springs please walk your way down and up. Don't get on any type of vehicle. We had a terrible accident. Thank god we made it out alive. This was like 500 meters from getting to the hot springs.

There were no ATVs working when we went and the steep hike in and out were worth it. While they have made the pools, they have done it tastefully. You are sitting in this outrageous canyon listening to the river down below and enjoying the...More

This is an AMAZING hot springs....clear, clean springs flow from the mountainside into several cement pools which are vented to drain off the water so the waters are always flowing.... The pools are varied in temperature....and depth. The setting is breath-taking! The 2 1/2 kilometer...More

Most of the tours from Creel will offer to go to Recowata hot springs as a drive there, park-walk-down-have a dip-walk-back up. I was very lucky to find a guide who offered the same tour but with motor quad! The road down is actually cobbled...More
