The shops are very expensive. This is just shopping. Some of the artists are in their shops so it is interesting to speak with them about their work. There is a nice coffee shop/smoothie bar in the middle of the shops. .

We began our shopping in San Miguel in the Artisan Markets so we had slight sticker shock at Fabrica La Aurora. I'm not saying the goods were not beautiful, they certainly were. There is art work, pottery, ceramics, jewelry and textiles...shop after shop in a gracious environment but generally out of my price range. Galleria Totonilco was more to my... More

Just an endless array of shops and studios. Don't miss it! It is fun to see some of the art studios and the wide variety of styles. They all lean a little too modern for my taste but are high quality. There are also antiques, clothing, and a nice looking bistro and coffee shop.

If we were not traveling for another 4 months before returning home, we could have gone crazy with purchases, both realistic and wishful thinking. Many items are high end - expensive, but there are some that are quite reasonable too. My credit card was trying to claw its way out of my pocket, itching to be used. We did not... More

Take time to visit this fantastic and historical site. One can experience not only the present but also the past here. The area is beautiful and a must visit in San Miguel.

This is a wonderful warren of shops and galleries. It has something for everyone in its extensive offerings. Plenty of affordable jewelry and tchtochtkes as well as upscale, expensive art, furniture, etc.. Plan on spending several hours there. Be sure and go to the Geeks and Coffee shop tucked away at the end - not readily evident, you have to... More

A friend suggested I visit this "art market," but it was much better than I expected. I ended up spending about 5 hours here, exploring the different galleries and artist studios. I would recommend this so much to anyone who's into art- I actually think it THE most worthwhile place to visit if looking at fine art is your priority.... More

Very fine upscale art at pretty expensive prices. We did find a piece to purchase but most of this art was not for me. Many, many art studios and artists. Nice cafe too.

There was so much amazing artwork that it was hard to see all of it. I would have loved to have spent more time just browsing around the different galleries and shops.

This is an old factory that has been converted into great little galleries, shops, fashion and lots of fun jewelry to buy! Love to go and browse and I have bought some amazing jewelry pieces here at very good prices! Always stop and have a little something at their cute outdoor restaurant. Very easy to get there by walking or... More
