Must go!!!!

Beautiful church, surrounded by a charming and nice neighbourhood. The square in front of it is always full of people from all over the world, music, vendors, and good food.

La Parroquia de San Miguel is one of the highlights in San Miguel and is located right in the center of town. A must see both during the day and night.

Lots of activities in front of the church if you go on Saturday. They have a neat custom where they have donkey with tequila followed by giant doll-like bride and groom and a band to parade around the square.

We visited many lovely churches in the area. They have their individual charms. The facade of the church was lovely. Be sure to see it at night.

I would recommend the historical walking tour that leaves from the plaza every M, W, F. Money all goes to a great cause. You learn a lot about this church from the tour. We spent time every night in the plaza, just staring at its architecture.

Parroquia is the absolute crux of San Miguel. Jardin ( pronounced Yardin) is the centre of Centro. Hustle bustle, tourists, parades go through, etc. etc. Also volunteers serve on the 1st Wednesday of every month, meals to the needy in the back courtyard of the church. A wonderful experience to be able to help out the locals.

This gorgeous church sits in the center of the "Puebla Viejo". The architecture, statues, paintings, etc., are amazing and one of the first things you must do upon arrival.

Located in the center of the colonial city, this cathedral dominates in size, architecture and beauty. Whether you hear the bells ringing every hour, visit the fine interior, sit in the nearby park or listen to a concert at its base, this church is the focal point of the city both night and day.

The interior is as beautiful as exterior. Unique also as are the other Churches in San Miguel. Must see them all. Some were even better at night when lit up inside.
