Walked into this church today and it was packed and right up front by the altar were dozens of kids with caps on. Blue for young kids and black for high school graduates. Much happiness all around and normalized this as a working church

My wife and I were walking through SMA and wandered into Iglesia de San Fransisco. It is a lovely church that is an oasis of calm compared with the beautiful chaos of SMA.

Glad we stopped in and took a look! In town, easy to access, rich in history and color like most of the area!

This church had a nice façade. All the churches are nice and each one has their own charm to them. Across the street you can get Churros!!!

Part of the walking tour. I enjoyed the description of the front of the church. The stile and how it was built. If there are pigeons drinking out of the fountain, it makes a great picture.

All of the buildings and sites through the city have a wow factor. The architecture is amazing. Just stroll through this town with your camera and you'll have photos to make all of your friends jealous.

As sacrilegious as that may sound, it perfectly defines the first altar on the left as you enter this charming old church. There is a full size mannequin, dressed as Jesus in white robes, crown or thorns and all, crawling toward you in a glass...More
