We had the most amazing and delicous dinner with Reuben! My four kids (ages 9, 11, 13, and 15) and I followed Reuben to the market for food tasting and a tour, and then back to the kitchen for the best meal we had on San Miguel, recipes included. I fell in love with San Miguel all over again!!

We attended several cooking classes this trip and this one was a favorite. The price was fair, the chef was very accommodating and fun to cook with, the recipes were excellent and the meal at the end was fabulous. I would absolutely take a class with Sazon again.

Fun way to learn about authentic Mexican ingredients and how to cook with them. Chef Ruben did an excellent job across the board. I highly recommend this for both the ladies and the men. Will definitely do this again when I return to SMA!

Well worth cost for meal market visit instruction and enjoyable experience. I have taken many cooking classes and this ranks at the top. Many offerings inSMA but take this one!,

Great time learning about, cooking and then eating a fantastic meal! Chef Rueben is very knowledgeable on Mexican cuisine and effortlessly switched between English and Spanish for our bilingual class. Great time. I recommend you skip breakfast prior to attending! You will want to be hungry!

This was a fun activity. The chef Ruben shows you not only hometown SMA but is an amazing chef. We cooked 4 amazing recipes. The experience was as interactive as you wanted it to be. I was all over being his sous chef. Some participants were more observers and they also enjoyed it just as much. You get an insiders... More

Chef Ruben was a great instructor and explained things very well. We've eaten a lot of Mexican food before and made it as well but it was interesting to learn the proper techniques for even something as simple as fresh salsa. I also love cooking classes that start with a local market tour to experience first hand where locals go... More
