Kris did a wonderful job of teaching us to make traditional Mexican foods. It was a hands on experience that we will not forget. Now I know how to make delicious chile rellenos! Within a week of our return home our daughter demonstrated what she learned and made a wonderful sponge cake.

Kris did a great job. She gave us so much more than recipes! We learned about the history of the regional cuisine and people. It was very comfortable for people with different levels of cooking experience and we enjoyed a great meal!

My husband and I went on the market tour/class and had a great time! Kris is a wonderful teacher, and an interesting and lively guide to the history of San Miguel as well. Our cooking class was well thought out, and the 6 of us created a wonderful lunch. I came home and immediately experimented with what I had learned,... More

This is an excellent way to learn about the many varieties of fruit and vegetables being offered in the public market and how to prepare them for the table. Our class started with a visit to the market, and after our guide purchased a number of items we adjourned to her Cooking School and participated in the preparation of a... More

Kris is an aboslutely great cook and teacher. My wife and I took the class together and while my wife is a cook, I'm one of those for whom boiling water is a challenge. She had me slicig and dicing like a pro in no time, and the meal we all helped cook was incredible. A great experience!

A fun and delicious night! Kris took some of the mystery out of the dishes, and showed us how healthy real Mexican cooking is. I bought the Cook book and have been using it a lot!
