Fun, on sunday noon they set up a food court in the street. Delicious and comfortable prices. Then one can go down the stairs to the river. Where the kids can play and go on the river ride

Best view over the Mayo river and the very nice bar quarter of the city. A must do! This part of the city is very special. Many bars, street arts and very beautiful plantations.

Definitely worth the almost 500 steps down !! Lovely peaceful panorama of the river. Cafe for drinks and food. Hard walk back if you go on a hot day ! Do not attempt if you have walking problems.

This hike down many stairs takes you to the Mirador where you have a nice view of River Mayo. There is such a nice, cool breeze along the river in any part of Moyobamba so it is very pleasant.

If you are travelling through moyobamba and need a break this is a pleasant stop. There is a small chocolate shop nearby which is worth a visit too. The street is colourful with flowers and brightly painted houses.
