It was early evening when myself and my partner went onto the beach...it just so happened that there was a fantastic rainbow to the side, making the whole area quite magical. It's a nice beach with a lovely old promenade in front, just a nice place to experience.

We visited late in the year so didn't really use the beach except for walking at night along the promenade or viewing from our room. The tide goes away out and it was really nice to see the locals up cockle picking in the early hours of the morning. The beach looked like a nice beach and would he used... More

The scenery is stunning. Views of Anglesey on one side with mountains and pastures green on the other. Clouds creeping over the mountain tops slowly melt away over the Straits . Blue skies in one direction dark looming skies in the other, such a fantastic mixture.

On a fantastic afternoon we went Fr a wok along the beach, the views to Anglesey and Llandudno are fantastic, topped by the hills behind. The beach was clean and quiet as all the schools are back!

It's a great view on this beach here at Llanfairfechan, views of Anglesey and Puffin Island and the back drop of mountains, not sandy but great for skimming stones.

We parked at the main car park (free car parking) at the sea front and walked along the Promenade towards the RSPB Reserve. A flat, accessible walk ideal for everyone. It was quite breezy so it is probably best to take something warm to wear just in case. There were views across to Anglesey and Puffin Island. There were plenty... More
