We stopped in here on a cruise and I was really surprised by how beautiful the marina was. Plenty of places to eat and shop for souvenirs and prices were very cheap. It was also very clean and safe. Only annoying thing was lots of...More

But that’s what they do... felt safe, you will get a better deal than the cruise ship for whatever you do and can take your time and enjoy the variety and the culture.

From the shops, restaurants, bars, little pangas to the multi million dollar yachts, all kinds of boat tours (which is my favourite thing to do), the cheeky sea lions swimming amongst the boats...the marina is a very fun place to hang out. There is always...More

Has cleaned up post Hurricane Odile. Fun seeing all the boats. Not as overwhelmed by vendors this trip.

There are TONS of amazing restaurants right around the Marina that have a great view. Everyone is so friendly and its within walking distance of downtown and all the shops!

The Marina is a great place to shop, eat and walk around in the great weather. It has all of the pluses of downtown but is right on the water. Especially convenient if you are taking a boat tour. Plan on some time to wander!

It gets very crowded with drunk tourists by mid-afternoon but if you go in the early morning, you'll be joined by other walkers/runners and can take in the beauty of the marina before the hawkers come out and try to sell you a day trip/boat...More

The marina has some excellent restaurants. The shops are cool but there’s better deals off the marina. You can negotiate great deals with smaller boat owners for tours, fishing etc. when walking the marina. Bought some beautiful hand painted plates from two women selling their...More

The Marina is beautiful and loaded with bars and restaurants. There are also a lot of street vendors, but the aren't aggressive. When we were there we actually saw a seal playing in the docks.

Felt no fear or hesitation about being at the marina during the day. I cannot speak to the evening, most of the shops & bars close early. Just likely any place, you never want to be the one wandering around in an... More
