This is a great location for walking, views and a day out. There are short and longer walks between the beaches. A lovely craft shop, a newsagent and brilliant pub, the cove makes amazing food and is so cosy.

Hope Cove is a stunning location. Lovely rugged walks and beautiful little beach which I believe was a location for an Agatha Christie film set.

It is a lovely cove and very popular, there is limited parking and quite expensive too. The village has a pub. Its a very pretty place to visit.

Two small coves with a lovely granite cliff backdrop. Coastal path flanks this lovely area. Busy even on a windy winter day. Small village centre with car park containing several pubs, post office etc.

Nice and warm climate. Even in winter the water is still warm enough for an adult to have a short swim. Looks like a joke but it is not. I wore a thin wetsuit and had the fun of my life. I will be back!!

Not a hotel, just a few rooms above a busy pub, not very welcoming, told to return when pub has calmed down! Breakfast ok, need to get down early, or you miss out on danish pastries. Just feel it was expensive for what you get....More

There's some local galleries in Salcombe, lots of shops to browse and lovely cafes and pubs dotted about. Head to south sands and air in the bar watching the waves crash or maybe head out to Dartmouth for a steamtrain ride... More

We went to the smaller of the two pubs the Cove and found it great with good food and competitive prices. The Hope and Anchor was always full but seemed a bit posh for us! None of the establishments in Hope Cove provide... More
