Hope Cove is a fantastic choice for family beach holidays. Two beaches, both sandy one with rock pools and a rainwater stream running through it. The dads and the children join forces to build dams to retain the relentless flow, sometimes successfully sometimes less so. In either event it's a great ice breaker for children and adults alike. With 2... More

Beautiful sheltered beach overlooking stunning cliffs and scenery. Fairly small with fine sand, ideal for children. The water on the right side of the beach is a little smelly as it is very sheltered by rocks and the seaweed doesn't appear that fresh! We visited in April and had fabulous weather however, the sea was freezing! Highly recommend a visit... More

Parking costs £4. for all day. This can reach full capacity by midday in the peak season. If you are staying locally you could arrange a taxi each way. There are a couple of nice pubs but the best value by far is the local post office/store. You can't miss it, just a short stroll from parking. They sell hot... More

Late decision to go here for a relaxing day. Parked up at around 10am and didn't leave till mid afternoon. We sat and soaked in the natural beauty of the surroundings. There was lots to see and do. Even more so if you were young and brave enough to enter the sea. Lots of both locals and visitors taking great... More

There are two beaches in Hope Cove, one is ideal for small boats and paddle boarding, while the other beach is better for small Children as there are plenty of rock pools and a stream so they can make dams and sandcastles. Not very big so not ideal for ball games. There are clean toilets behind the beach although quite basic.

Having recently stayed at Marlborough (2.5 miles away) and being very lucky with the weather between the 7th and 14th April 2017, Inner Hope could not have been more perfect for 2 newbie kayakers, there was a slip way near a great car park which allowed us to unload the boats and then go an park up for the day,... We've been bringing our boys here since they were in nappies (now 10 & 9). Still a wonderful beech with great coves and rock pooling. With the added addition of a swanky new "on trend" cafe and a refurb'ed Hope & ⚓️ inn with great food and new terrace what's not to like!! 🤗
