Impressive church very antique on the outside and modern inside. It is just breathtaking!! Right in the heart of Zacatecas. It’s architecture is outstanding! Some people say they started building it in 1752 or even before. To me one of the most beautiful cathedrals.

We only saw it from the outside but it is impressive! It’s located in the middle of everything so you can’t miss it!

I don't understand why there are so many cathedrals in Zacatecas, literally right next to each other. They are all spectacular. This one especially. We sat outside a cafe next to the cathedral and people watched before going inside. Be sure to walk around the...More

Beautiful baroque. The altar is absolutely gorgeous. A picture at the entrance describes the names of the saints at the altar

While the exterior is quite exquisit carvings, the interior of the church is rather plain compared to other cathedrals that I have visited.

What a beautiful cathedral. It's amazing to see specially at night when its lit up. There are vendors outside selling food. So sit and relax after you've been to mass
